Youth Ministry…

Welcome to the Holy Trinity youth program…We meet in two separate age groups at least three Sundays a month, sometimes more!...Middle School (grades 6~8) meets from 9:10 ~ 10:20 am and High School (grades 9~12) meets from 11:45 ~ 1:15 pm…We have a blend of social, spiritual, educational, and emotional components along with discussion of Catholic teachings and traditions…Oh yes, and snacks…

During the year your youth can expect to encounter lively presentation, appropriate videos, service projects and/or fun activities relating to each week’s topic…We will discuss Catholic Social Teachings and our responsibilities as Catholics in our world along with being actively involved in church and community service projects…Retreats and lock-ins will also be offered at various times throughout the year…Let your voices be heard and your actions be seen as you become active participants along with your kids in touching our communities!...Contact me, Patty Ehmann for more details regarding how you can become involved as participants, teen ministers, and adult team members…Adult team members and other volunteers will be required to submit to a simple mandatory background check and interview…Come join the fun!!!

Confirmation Preparation…

Teen Confirmation at Holy Trinity is a program through which  Catholic youth learn to discover and articulate God’s presence in their lives…This journey will celebrate a young person’s faith and their response to God’s call to become full participation members of the Catholic Church…Classes are held once a month on Sunday from noon ~ 2:00 pm at HOPE House…Each candidate must be baptized and reach the age of 15 by the end of the school year…Along with the monthly meetings, each youth must attend two retreats and a Day of Reflection…They must also fulfill the community service requirements and write a corresponding reflection paper…To begin the process, candidates are required to have been involved in a Religious Education program the year prior to and during the year in which they wish to receive the sacrament…Again, contact Patty to begin this wonderful process…
