Vision Statement

By 2010, our parish will be an open, invitational community that will provide a vital continuum of faith formation opportunities to meet our local, community, and internal parish needs.

Goals

1) Institute and run Why Catholic? program which we will sponsor at the parish for the next 4 years. The program runs in the fall and spring. The goal is to have the entire parish involved in faith formation in small communities. Our goal the first session is for 150 - 200 people to be involved.

2) Promote and help facilitate involvement of the 18-25ish Young Adults in the parish by holding an open meeting for all these young adults to discover their needs. We are attempting to reach out to this group in order to train a group of young adults who will facilitate their outings helping them meet each other.

  3) Promote and help facilitate involvement of young families in forming community in the parish. We will sponsor a Family PG Movie night three times next year after Saturday night mass that will have movies/food.

Our goal is to help them meet others like themselves and through these interactive moments their faith will be increased as they interact with others in similar situations creating small Christian communities.
