HOLY TRINITY STAINED GLASS

The symbol of Trinity dates from the middle ages
and suggests both unity and triplicity.

A Dove, the traditional symbol of the Holy Spirit,
represents Confirmation.

The lamb bearing a cross has symbolized
the Resurrection of Christ
since the fourth century.

The first two letters of Christ's name in Greek
characters, chi and rho, with the addition of
rippling water, become the symbol of Baptism.

St. Patrick used this image of the shamrock
to teach the doctrine of the Trinity to the
Irish people.
